SENIOR ESTIMATOR/PROJECT MANAGER
JBM Contractors Corporation is seeking a dynamic Senior Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. We are looking for a professional, motivated, hardworking, and experienced individual.

JBM Contractors Corporation is a privately-owned general contractor based in Zionsville, IN. We offer a full-range of commercial construction services, including General Contracting, Construction Management, and Design/Build Services. Our work has a regional focus and includes new construction and renovation projects in a multitude of building markets. JBM Contractors Corporation is dedicated to client service and a strong relationship with the subcontractor community.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of construction projects from estimating to pre-construction, and through project closeout, including but not limited to:
    • Budgeting/Estimating
    • Project Scheduling (Microsoft Project)
    • Negotiating & Awarding Subcontracts
    • Coordinating & Managing Multiple Subcontractors/Suppliers
    • Preparing Job Costs Analysis Reports
    •  RFI's, Submittals, Change Orders, Etc.
    • Monitoring XBE Participation Requirements
    • Coordinating with On-Site Superintendents
    • Preparing Monthly Billings & Processing Subcontractor Invoicing
    • Preparing & Managing Project Meetings 
  • Business Development & Client Retention
  • Manage Safety Compliance and Job Specific Safety Plans

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management and/or Engineering.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in managing construction projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
  •  Experience in Commercial Construction.
  • Experience Estimating and Managing projects in both the Public & Private markets.
  •  OSHA 10 Hour Certified
  • Experience Working with Computers, Email, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and management skills.
  • Experience Collaborating with Owners, Architects, & Subcontractors.

CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT
JBM Contractors Corporation is seeking a dynamic Superintendent to join our team. We are looking for a professional, motivated, hardworking, and experienced superintendent.

We offer a full-range of commercial construction services, including General Contracting, Construction Management, and Design/Build Services. Our work has a regional focus and includes new construction and renovation projects in a multitude of building markets. JBM Contractors Corporation is dedicated to client service and a strong relationship with the subcontractor community.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage & Coordinate Day-to-Day Onsite Construction Progress
  • Manage & Coordinate Onsite Activities of Multiple Subcontractor Trades
  • Manage & Coordinate Self-Performance Labor, Material, & Equipment Needs
  • Monitor & Coordinate Project Schedule
  • Maintain Onsite Safety Program
  • Ensure/Monitor Quality Control
  • Conduct Subcontractor Field Coordination Meetings
  •  Conduct Safety “Tool-Box” Talks
  • Complete and/or Submit Jobsite Paperwork (i.e. Weekly Time Sheets, Daily Reports, Delivery Tickets, Safety Forms, Work Order Forms, Look-Ahead Schedules, Etc.)
  •  Coordinate Construction Activities with Building Occupants and/or Adjacent Users
  • Maintain As-Built Drawings Throughout Construction
  •  Schedule & Coordinate Inspections & Testing
  •  Capable & Willing to Work with Tools (i.e. Miscellaneous Carpentry & General Labor)

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  •  Minimum Five (5) years of experience as a Superintendent.
  •   Valid Driver’s License.
  • Experience Working with Computers, Email, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and management skills.
  • Experience in Commercial Construction.
  • OSHA 30 Hour Certified
